After attending the match between Man United vs Tottenham at Old Trafford, Sir Jim Ratcliffe shared about the investment situation.
The head of INEOS attended Man United for the first time, after acquiring 25% of the club's shares last month and taking over the team's sports management. Sir Jim Ratcliffe spent 1.3 billion pounds for 25% of the Red Devils' shares, and invested nearly 300 million pounds to upgrade Old Trafford stadium.
When asked about when these investments will be approved by the Premier League BTC, Sir Jim Ratcliffe replied: "In February. Hopefully my background will be okay. This is the first match I attended and I felt very excited."

Sir Jim said about the plan to invest in Man United: "It appeared a few years ago and now everything has had a breakthrough. The first time I went to watch a MU match was probably when I was 10 years old as a child, 60 years ago. My favorite players? Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, maybe even Eric Cantona."
This winter, when investments have not been approved, it will be difficult for MU to bring in large contracts due to financial fairness problems. Coach Erik ten Hag is looking forward to short-term contracts, in the form of loans, to supplement the force in phase 2 of the season.
